Barcode errors
What each barcode message means and how to correct the code.
For: Suppliers
| Message | Fix |
|---|---|
| "Barcode is required." | Enter the product's barcode. |
| "Barcode must contain digits only." | Remove spaces, letters and dashes. |
| "Barcode must have 8, 12, 13 or 14 digits (this one has N)." | Check for a missing or extra digit. Spreadsheets sometimes drop leading zeros: format the column as text. |
| "Barcode check digit is wrong — please re-check the code." | One digit is mistyped. Copy it again from the pack. |
