Supplier guide
Stock and reservations
How stock is counted in cases, what "reserved" means, and how to adjust your available stock.
For: Suppliers
Stock is counted in cases. When a buyer places an order, the ordered cases are reserved straight away, so they can't be sold twice.
| Figure | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Available to sell | Cases buyers can order now |
| Reserved | Cases on orders that are placed or confirmed but not shipped. Already deducted from available stock, still in your warehouse. |
| On hand | Available plus reserved |
| In transit | Cases on shipped orders |
| Delivered, cancelled, ordered | Totals for reference |
Adjust stock
In Stock & Reservations, choose Adjust stock, set the available cases and, optionally, a reason. The reason is saved in the product history.
Good to know: When an order is declined or cancelled, its reserved cases go back to available stock.
You get in-app alerts when a product runs low or out of stock.
